As
some of you already know, I am an avid reader. This is generally a
prerequisite in medical school, and has been the basis for my learning
and hopefully mastering every major endeavor I apply myself. I have a
tendency to get a lot of books on a given subject and read them all, in
hopes of unifying the common underlying themes to a particular topic.
In doing this, I have developed a very discerning eye in terms of what
books work, and which simply don't. While I have no interest in
critiqueing every book out there, I would like to offer up what I to
believe to be excellent choices in particular fields. I also would like
to develop a good list of general interest books that I feel everyone
would benefit from reading. The goal is that hopefully you could pick
one book and just go from there. I hope you enjoy these
recommendations and by all means, send me any book suggestions you may
have. I have a perpetually inexhaustible thirst for knowledge =)
Also, I have recently written my first book, about scuba diving and photography (suprise =). You can check out my other site (www.SCUBAdic.com) for more info or purchase them below...
